BATON ROUGE —- Baton Rouge Police officers started their Sunday morning responding to a homicide.
It was before 8 a.m. on April 28 when BRPD responded to the 1600 block of Florida St. for a shooting.
At the scene, officers found a homeless man, Tedrick Davis, 34, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.
It’s the third homicide for East Baton Rouge Parish this weekend and second one for BRPD officers.
Earlier on Sunday, around 5:30 a.m., BRPD officers responded to a triple shooting.
It happened at Choctaw & N. Ardenwood drives. Upon arrival, officers found three people inside a vehicle, who had been shot.
All three were transported to a hospital with one of the three listed in critical condition.
