It was late Tuesday afternoon when BRPD officers responded to a call for a shooting at a BREC Park in Baton Rouge.
It was at the park on Evangeline for a teenager found lying in the park after he had been shot.
The young man took at least one bullet to the chest and was transported to an area hospital.
His current condition is unknown.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
