BRPD investigating shooting on Rhine Ave.

Baton Rouge Police Officers are on the scene of two people allegedly shooting at each other.

The call came out around 9:30pm on Memorial Day in the 10,000 block of Rhine Ave., that’s south of Bluebonnet & Perkins.

Early reports show one person was shot in both legs, but then fled the scene. Officials did find the person who was shot not far from the initial scene and EMS transported him to an area hospital.

One person is in custody.
