Baton Rouge police arrested the man accused of killing Breunkia Collins in a fatal hit-and-run accident on March 12.
BRPD detectives arrested Jacob Knazs, 22, for his involvement in the Sunday night crash. Officials say the accident happened on the 5700 block of South Sherwood Forest Blvd at around 8:45 p.m.
Sources say Collins was crossing the street to meet with friends before she was hit.
Knazs was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for felony hit and run.
