UPDATE: (9/27/22): Multiple sources confirm BRPD Officer Wade Hill was terminated after his disciplinary hearing on Monday, Sept. 26th.
ORIGINAL: Baton Rouge Police Officer Wade Hill, who was arrested Sept. 1st, is accused of kidnapping a woman who was allegedly trespassing.
BRPD said Hill was asked by the manager of an apartment to remove a woman who was allegedly trespassing on July 8th. Hill was in uniform and his department issued police car when he responded.
Instead of removing her though, Hill allegedly handcuffed her & placed her in his police car. While still handcuffed, he then put her in his private vehicle and took her to several locations before finally taking her to his apartment.
She was allegedly touched inappropriately and several sexual comments made to her. Hill eventually removed her handcuffs.
He then is accused of masturbating in front of her.
Hill is still employed by the department due to “due process” according to BRPD’s Deputy Chief Myron Daniels. He is currently assigned to the third district in uniform patrol. Hill started with BRPD in Dec. 2020.
He’s charged with second-degree kidnapping, obscenity, malfeasance in office & misdemeanor sexual battery.
