BRPD working four shootings, one involving an infant

Baton Rouge Police officers responded to four different shootings in about a four-hour period on Sunday, Nov. 21st, one involving an infant.

Around 9:30pm, officers were called out to the 3000 block of Voss Dr. for a home that was shot. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries at this specific shooting.  

Just before 8pm on N. 12th St., initial reports indicate an infant was grazed by a bullet. Plus, two people told police they were driving down Florida Blvd. when someone in another vehicle starting shooting at their vehicle. One person was shot in the arm and another in the back.

Around 7pm, a 17-yr-old year was shot in a drive-by shooting on Tennessee St. to the arm.

An hour earlier, just before 6pm, officers found a car with numerous bullet holes on Winbourne Ave. The driver of that car, an 18-yr-old, was transported to a hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

All are active investigations at this time.
