Brusly police chase ends with 4 arrested

Around 6pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Brusly Police officers attempted to stop a vehicle for an expired temporary tag.

Instead of stopping, Brusly police said the vehicle took off during heavy traffic from Brusly to the intracoastal, even driving into oncoming traffic. There were no injuries from the chase.

Police said they witnessed small bags of drugs tossed out of the vehicle. That’s when police say three people were seen running, two adults and two teenagers.

All four people were caught and arrested. Kentavius Anderson, 20, Michael Carney, 22, and two 17-yr-olds were arrested. All four are charged with possession of marijuana and possession of meth. All but Anderson are also charged with unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure.
