Car stolen with 2-month-old baby inside

STOLEN VEHICLE

The Baton Rouge Police Dept. has a person in custody after a car was stolen that had a 2-month baby in the back seat.

Three men stole the car around 6:30pm from the Save More gas station on Plank Rd. The car was unlocked and running.

The people who stole the vehicle did eventually stop and drop off the baby in a parking lot on Eaton St. before they ditched the vehicle on Longfellow Dr.

They did run but officers were able to catch one person.

The baby is okay.
