Cashier beat during Shenandoah armed robbery

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in a late night armed robbery in the Shenandoah area.

It happened at the Circle K on Tiger Bend Rd. at 11:18pm on Jan. 31st.

Officials say two men, a white man and a black man, between the ages of 15-20, had on masks, gloves and dark clothing when they entered the Circle K.

One of the men had a gun. Both men allegedly demanded the clerk to open the register.

The cashier is said to have been beaten and pushed to the ground.

Despite all that, deputies said the two men fled without taking anything.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP or the EBRSO at 389-5000.
