Catalytic converters stolen from 3 Brian’s Furniture trucks

More than $10,000 worth of catalytic converters were stolen overnight from Brian's Furniture in Port Allen.

The Port Allen Police Dept. is looking for the three individuals caught on video allegedly stealing three catalytic converters from the Brian’s Furniture trucks.

It happened around 5:30am on Feb. 3rd on Court St. in Port Allen.

This is the third time their vehicle have been hit in the past three months.

Brian Fourroux with Brian’s Furniture said six catalytic converters were stolen and he had to spend $12,000 to replace the converters. Fourroux said he’s furious.

“Other businesses that have experienced similar thefts, if you have surveillance, please we need to pool our videos to get some good identifications and get these people arrested,” said Fourroux. 

Port Allen Police Chief Corey Hicks said the theft of catalytic converters is something that’s been hitting the entire parish of West Baton Rouge, just as it is nationwide. 

Officials are asking for any information in identifying or locating the trio caught on camera.
