HAMMOND — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding multiple people caught on surveillance burglarizing vehicles in the parking lot of a Baptist/Hammond area apartment complex.
The burglaries happened on April 14 after 2 a.m. at the Oakwood Apartment complex on South Baptist Road in the Hammond area. Officials report four individuals stole credit cards, guns and cash. They were seen in the parking lot surveillance video.
The video shows the suspects in action armed with guns that appear to have extended magazines, officials said.
TPSO would also like to remind everyone to remove all valuables from your vehicles at the end of each day. In addition, lock your vehicles before going to bed.
