The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and neighbors in the Morgan Place West neighborhood in Central are trying to identify and locate a man caught on surveillance camera burglarizing vehicles.
It happened overnight on March 22, 2022 between 2-3am.
It appears a few vehicles were burglarized and no vehicles were stolen.
The surveillance video shows a man going into someone’s carport with a gun in hand but then leaving out within seconds. Several other cameras picked up a suspicious vehicle that officials are also looking for in connection to the case.
Anyone with any information on the person caught on camera or the vehicle in question is asked to call the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
