Within a matter of seconds, in the middle of the day, someone shot at a vehicle with four people inside.

SURVEILLANCE VIDEO OF SHOOTING

During broad daylight & middle of the day, there was a drive-by shooting at a gas station on Airline Hwy.

At first glance, you would not realize there was a shooting because it happened within a matter of seconds. However, if you watch the surveillance video carefully, you can see the muzzle flash at least twice and a back passenger stick a gun out of the back right window.

This happened on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:11pm at the Mobil Truck Stop on the 6300 block of Airline Hwy.

One of the owners of the truck stop provided the surveillance video of the shooting to Unfiltered with Kiran. The shooting was caught by two cameras, showing two different angles.

It appears as a gray Honda Accord pulled up to pump 6, a white GMC Yukon pulled up next to the vehicle at the pump on the opposite side. While the driver of the Honda Accord went inside, the Yukon moved to one end of the gas station. As the driver was walking back to his car, the Yukon drove past it and fired several shots.

Law enforcement sources said the hood of the Accord was shot several times and officials did retrieve several spent shell casings around the pump and on Airline Hwy.

The Accord had three other passengers in the vehicle plus the driver. No one was hit by any of the bullets. No arrests have been made at this time but the suspect(s) could be looking at multiple attempted first-degree murder charges.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
