GONZALES — A man is accused of reversing his truck into a daiquiri shop in Ascension Parish late Friday night.
He has since been arrested. Micca Dotson, 32, of Prairieville, was arrested and facing several different charges.
It was around 11:30pm on June 16 when Ascension deputies responded to a bar along Hwy. 44 for a vehicle that crashed into a building.
One person at the bar did suffer a minor injury during the incident. The building had damage to the front of the building.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dotson.
Deputies detained Dotson, who blew nearly three times the legal limit for alcohol.
He was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. He is charged with DWI 3rd, Hit and Run, Reckless Operation, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Disturbing the Peace, and Vehicular Negligent Injuring.
