CENTRAL —- East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies and Central Police officers responded Tuesday morning to a pond on Old Wax Rd. for reports about a person located. That person has now been identified.
It was Tuesday morning just before 8 a.m. when law enforcement responded to Old Wax Rd. between Durmast & Greenwell Springs roads for a person in a pond.
Upon arrival, deputies and officers confirmed the person was deceased. The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office has identified that person as 21-year-old Colby Riles.
No further details have been released at this time.
