Central: Greenwell Springs Rd. shut down after two-vehicle fiery crash

CENTRAL —- Central Police Officers had asked for drivers to avoid Greenwell Springs Rd. until they could clean up after a major, fiery wreck.

Central Police Chief Roger Corcoran said officials are responding to the scene after a two-vehicle crash around 2pm in the 20,600 block of Greenwell Springs.

Officials say three people were transported to area hospitals and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

Greenwell Springs Rd. was closed between Hooper and Old Wax roads near the Copart.

Chief Corcoran said one of the vehicles caught on fire. The wreckage has left complete road blockage.
