Central: Man killed in motorcycle crash identified as 51-year-old

CENTRAL —- It was after 8 p.m. on Sept. 3 when Central Police officers were asked to respond to 17125 Frenchtown Rd. for a crash.

Upon arrival, officers found Basil Wayne Crawford, 51, of Pride, lying in the roadway. Central Police Chief Roger Corcoran says Crawford was driving a motorcycle that crashed, killing him.

The crash involved the motorcycle only and at this time, it’s unclear what led up to the deadly crash.

EBRSO is assisting with the crash investigation.

No further details have been released currently.
