EAST BATON ROUGE —- A head-on crash Thanksgiving night has left three people dead, including a baby, and sent one person to a hospital.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 7500 block of Joor Rd., between Mickens and Lovett Roads in Central.
According to Central Police Chief Roger Corcoran, 58-year-old Howard Gross was driving a Mustang south on Joor Rd. when he crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into another car. Inside that car was the driver, 44-year-old Reginald Hall, a passenger, and a four-month-old baby.
Gross, Hall, and the baby were killed in the crash. The baby and the passenger, who is the baby’s mother, were rushed to the hospital, but the infant didn’t survive. The passenger survived the crash, and is in stable condition.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and State Police are assisting with the crash.
