The Central Police Chief, Roger Corcoran, said Wax Rd. in front of Demco will be shut down for a few hours.
It comes after a wreck involving a pickup truck and 18-wheeler.
Chief Corcoran said the pickup truck crossed over the center line into the path of the 18-wheeler. The big rig driver tried to avoid the pickup & ended up flipping and losing its load of gravel.
The pickup driver was airlifted to a hospital.
Wax Rd. will remain shut down for several hours as crews clean up the roadway of the gravel.
