It was just after midnight on Madison Ave. off of Choctaw & Plank when there was a drive-by shooting.
Two people were injured in the shooting, one being a child aged 11 or 12 years old.
The child was taken to Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge while the adult was taken to another hospital.
Both appear to have non-life threatening injuries.
