ADDIS — Multiple agencies responded to a home on River’s Edge Dr. for a 3-yr-old child drowning.
It was around 11 a.m. on April 3, 2024 when officials got the call for a young girl who fell in a pool.
Officials arrived to find the child without a pulse. The little girl was AirMed to Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge but officials say she did not survive. UWK is not releasing her name at this time.
Addis Police Officers are investigating the drowning and no further details have been released at this time including how long the child had been in the pool or how she fell in.
The home is located at the intersection of River’s Edge Dr. & River Run Court. That’s the neighborhood behind the Benedetto’s grocery store in Addis.
