Christian King ordered to stay away from his own baby

Christian King

Christian King went before 19th JDC Commissioner Nicole Robinson on Friday, Jan. 20th for his bond hearing. The Texas-based lawyer will be held without any bond.

Commissioner Robinson also found probable cause for an upgraded charge from simple arson to aggravated arson. Aggravated arson means it was foreseeable that human life was in danger.

It’s why the commissioner ordered a protective order for the couple’s 6-month-old baby against her own father, Christian King.

It comes after King was caught on video setting fire to his ex’s home and the baby’s mother Breanna Jones.

UPDATE (1/18/2023): Christian King’s bond hearing in the 19th Judicial District Court has been delayed to Friday, Jan. 20th after issues with his attorney.

King, 30, allegedly violated a protective order against his ex-girlfriend Breanna Jones, six times since Dec. 2022.

The most recent violation was setting fire to her home on Jan. 14th. Thankfully, Jones and the couple’s 6-month-old baby girl were not inside the home at the time of the fire.

Jones is the second victim who alleges King has violated his protective order. Another woman, who lives in Orleans Parish, said King pulled a gun on her when he violated the protective order she had against him. In that case, the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office is now requesting his bond be revoked if King were to make bond in Baton Rouge. A bond revocation hearing is set for Jan. 25th in Orleans Parish.

King graduated law school in Baton Rouge in 2020. He is currently licensed to practice law in Texas and has an active license with the Texas Bar Association.
