Scott was found in a container around 5pm on Jan. 28th in Ascension Parish. Sheriff Bobby Webre said a preliminary autopsy did reveal Fentanyl in her system, but the cause of the death remains undetermined for now. A complete toxicology report can take up to two months.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office released three names and pictures as persons of interest in Scott’s death, but they were only wanted for questioning.

Officials said Landarrius Alverez, aka Deezy, 33, turned himself in for unrelated charges. He’s facing domestic abuse strangulation and theft less than $1,000. His bond was set at $150,000.

Meanwhile, the APSO is still searching for two others wanted for questioning in Scott’s death.

APSO is looking for Ashley Nicole Simoneaux, 34, and Sedrick Credit, 43. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-621-8300 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Meanwhile, Scott’s family and friends describe her as a loving, caring individual whose life was taken too soon. It’s why they have set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for a funeral. The family has not scheduled Scott’s funeral yet saying until they have enough money in the account, they cannot have a funeral.
