DENHAM SPRINGS —- Two trailers were on fire on Judalon Rd. in Denham Springs with several firefighters who battled the blaze.
It started in a wooded area nearby around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 and spread quickly to fully engulf two trailers, per Fire District 4 in Livingston Parish. As of 2:55 p.m., the fire was under control.


The fire was on Judalon Rd., which is between Walker and Denham Springs, but has a Denham address. That’s off of Burgess Rd., which is off Lockhart Rd.
Officials said no injuries were reported, but Acadian Ambulance was also on the scene. Officials said one unoccupied home was destroyed. One inhabited dwelling received exterior damage, but was not destroyed.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
Livingston Parish just lifted their burn ban on Oct. 17 with a few neighboring parishes also choosing to opt out of the state’s burn ban that’s been in place since Aug.
