Man’s body found in Walmart parking lot died from natural causes

DENHAM SPRINGS — The man whose body was found in a Walmart parking lot died from natural causes, his family tells Unfiltered with Kiran.

His family identified him as William Bowman, 53, and said he had been sleeping in his vehicle for the night.

It comes after Denham Springs Police Dept. responded to a body that was found in the Walmart parking lot on S. Range Ave. A Walmart employee called 911 around 11am on Oct. 18 to report the body.

Since then, his family tells UWK that the coroner’s office has told them there were no traces of drugs found in the man’s body and that he died from natural causes.

Denham Springs Police did say there was no indication of foul play.

The man’s body was found in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart in Denham Springs. Officials did say his body had been in the vehicle for a few days prior to someone calling it in.
