Denham Springs man arrested after drive-by shooting

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Livingston Parish deputies have arrested a 29-yr-old man in connection to a Denham Springs shooting.

On January 31, around 3:00 a.m., Livingston Parish deputies responded to Pinetree Drive in Denham Springs for a call for “shots fired.” That’s off of Old Live Oak Dr.

LPSO says “an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds from a dark colored SUV. A home and two vehicles were hit by bullets. No one was injured.”

Detectives executed several search warrants and were able to identify their suspect as Terry George II, 29, of Denham Springs.

George has been processed into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on the following:

Illegal discharge from a roadway
Felon in possession of Firearm
Agg. Criminal Damage to Property
Violation of Protective Order
Obstruction of Justice


*NOTE: George is also wanted out of Missouri on a burglary charge

LPSO said several citizens in the parish helped play a vital role in the investigation by providing video from their home surveillance cameras.

This investigation is ongoing.  More charges are expected.
