LIVINGSTON — Ricky Foster, the man at the center of “The Devil Wears Dunks” documentary, is locked up again and held without bond.
His arrest comes after he bonded out of the Livingston Parish Detention Center Friday evening. Foster covered his head and face as he exited the building.
But Monday night, May 18, Foster was behind bars again. He’s charged with two counts of violation of a protective order. At this time, LPSO says he’s being held without bond.
Friday, as he walked out of the detention center, when UWK asked if he had anything to say, Foster did not say a word.
Foster posted bond on three of his charges on Friday: sexual battery, extortion and principal. The total bond for those charges was $800,000.
He was initially arrested on April 1 on 10 counts of third-degree rape, 4 counts of sexual battery, and 10 counts of extortion. On April 29, Foster faced additional charges, including human trafficking and crimes against nature.
Melissa Louque, Foster’s wife, turned herself in on April 29, facing one count of crimes against nature. She remains in the detention center, held without bond.

DENHAM SPRINGS — Ricky Foster, the subject of a “The Devil Wears Dunks” documentary who was already arrested and facing multiple charges, is now facing more charges, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Foster is now charged with human trafficking and crimes against nature. This is in addition to his earlier charges: 10 counts of third-degree rape, 4 counts of sexual battery, and 10 counts of extortion.

A 21st Judicial District Court judge has denied a bond reduction motion for Ricky Foster, the Denham Springs man at the center of “The Devil Wears Dunks” documentary.
Foster was arrested on April 1st, facing multiple charges of rape, sexual battery and extortion that investigators say are only part of a larger investigation. His bond was set at $850,000. He is charged with 10 counts of third-degree rape, 4 counts of sexual battery, and 10 counts of extortion.
On April 7, Foster’s defense team filed an application to reduce his bail, as Article I, section 18 of the Louisiana Constitution provides that “excessive bail shall not be required.” According to the filed application, the “Defendant submits that the present bail is excessive”.
The hearing was held on April 14, and Judge Brian Abels denied Foster’s request.

LPSO says their investigation so far reveals a victim told deputies that she was in a relationship with Ricky Foster from January – August 2023. During that time, Foster allegedly took out over $70,000 in credit card loans without the victim’s knowledge. In order to pay that money back, LPSO says Foster allegedly forced the victim to perform sex acts with and on him threatening her that he would not pay him back if she did not.
Foster is the subject of a documentary titled The Devil Wears Dunks. It details allegations that he hosted fundraisers and attempted to purchase high-value items, including a Denham Springs restaurant. The documentary claims that he never followed through on the deals. The documentary also includes allegations involving underage girls.
Officials tell UWK the allegations tied to Foster go far beyond financial deception.

Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies, with assistance from the Denham Springs Marshal, arrested Foster on April 1, 2026.
He is charged with 10 counts of third-degree rape, 4 counts of sexual battery, and 10 counts of extortion. He is being held without bond.

Foster founded of “Dads of Denham 2.0,” a community group and hosted annual car shows to raise money for St. Jude’s.
In 2022, after a fire destroyed the gym at Live Oak Junior High School, Foster organized a fundraiser with proceeds intended to help the school. At least one victim told UWK their $2,000 donation never reached the school. UWK has reached out to LPSO to confirm allegations of theft.
