DENHAM SPRINGS — Livingston Sheriff’s Office has updated that four people are now in custody.
Daquan Linton, 19, Zach Brunfield, 18, Kendall Williams, 19 and Michael Cannon, 17, are all charged with illegal discharge with life at risk, possession of marijuana, resisting an officer and trespassing.
It comes after a heavy presence of Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies on 4H Club Rd. near Vincent Rd. in a vacant lot after reports of several shots fired in the area. That’s not far from the Sam’s and Bass Pro in Denham Springs.
The scene unfolded around 3:30 p.m. with multiple units responding immediately. Viewers have reported to UWK that K9 units are also assisting deputies as they search for the possible gunmen. UWK has learned Livingston deputies were searching the area for multiple men, possibly armed.
Since then, four people are now in custody but LPSO has not released anymore details.
As of now, there have been no reports of any of the shots fired hitting anyone.
No further details have been released at this time. It’s unclear what led up to the shots fired in the 4H Club & Vincent Rd. area.
