Just before Noon on July 10 in Denham Springs, people nearby the scene reported hearing anywhere between 10-12 shots ring out.
Denham PD say it was in the 400 block of Martin Luther King. They added that the shooter was the passenger in a gray or silver car, possibly a Nissan Altima while a female was driving.
Police report the victim was hit several times and told police that he got into a fight with the shooter a few days ago and he figured the shooter was coming back for a fight again.
As 25-yr-old victim approached the car, that’s when police say the suspect opened fire. The car then fled towards Baton Rouge after the driver was involved in a hit and run near Florida and Range.
The victim was air med to a nearby hospital for his gunshot wounds.
Denham Police said they’re looking for Jacolby Alan Foster, 21, in connection to the shooting on MLK in Denham Springs.
Police said he’s wanted on the below charges:
Attempted 2nd Degree Murder
2nd Degree Battery
2nd Degree Kidnapping
Illegal Possession of a Firearm
Simple Criminal Damage to Property
