EAST BATON ROUGE —- Deputies are investigating a man found dead in a yard, apparently shot to death.
It was around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 when East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies responded to Kilona Dr., off of Greenwell St. for a man found dead.
Upon arrival, he was found in the backyard of a home, dead from an apparent shooting.
However, sources confirm to UWK that the man had been dead for several hours when he was found. It’s unclear how long before he was shot, where the shooting happened or how he ended up in the yard. All that remains under investigation.
The deceased’s name has not been released at this time.
