Sources confirm there was a shooting this evening in or near Baker involving East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies. An exact location is not known at this time.
Unfiltered with Kiran is told deputies were assisting ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearm) with an investigation when a suspect allegedly came at deputies with a firearm. That’s when sources say deputies shot the suspect in the leg.
The suspect is expected to be okay.
The case is under investigation.
