On Friday, June 10, 2022 around 12:45 pm, the Roseland Police Department was contacted in reference to a missing 68-yr-old woman.
Captain Kasey Jackson notified the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffs Office for assistance. Once the sheriffs office arrived, Roseland police officers and Tangipahoa Parish sheriffs deputies and a K-9 unit relocated to near the house of the missing person. With the help of the Tangipahoa Parish 911 and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, the woman was located in a wooded area approximately two miles from her home without serious injury.

The woman was transported by Acadian Ambulance to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
