Detectives searching for man accused of robbing Dollar General

GREENWELL SPRINGS — East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for a man accused of robbing a Dollar General at gunpoint earlier this month.

Officials say the man approached the counter at the Dollar General on Magnolia Beach Road, pointed a gun and demanded money. He left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to contact EBRSO Armed Robbery and Burglary at 225-389-5064 or Capital Region Crime Stoppers anonymously at 344-STOP.
