POINTE COUPEE — Dudley DeBosier and UWK have partnered to launch “Difference Maker,” a program that fulfills a need for someone or a family once a month.
The latest project focuses on Christy Cutrer, a grandmother of a child with special needs. Cutrer, who lives in Pointe Coupee Parish, hired a contractor to fix a hole in her roof, but he took her money and disappeared, leaving the job unfinished.
The “Difference Maker” program relies on public nominations. You can nominate someone truly in need via this link or by visiting the Difference Maker tab on the UWK website. The program also accepts nominations for individuals interested in joining Dudley DeBosier and UWK in becoming a Difference Maker.
Each month, one nominated family or person will be selected, and UWK will report on the fulfilled need on our YouTube channel and all social media platforms. Nominations are now open.
