Double shooting leaves a father dead & his daughter injured

BATON ROUGE —- A 39-year-old father and his daughter were shot Friday night in Baton Rouge. Since the shooting, the dad died from his injuries.

It was just after 9:30 p.m. when Baton Rouge Police Officers responded to the 5400 block of Sycamore Street. There, they found two victims who had been shot.

Both father and daughter were transported to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. The daughter was transported to Children’s Hospital.

Norris Robinson, 39, died from his injuries. His daughter is being treated for her injuries. 

No details have been released at this time as to what led up to this double shooting.
