BATON ROUGE —- An elderly woman was transported to a hospital after driving into a bank on Jones Creek Road in East Baton Rouge Parish.
The accident happened around 3pm at the Chase Bank on Jones Creek Road near Shenandoah Avenue.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff Office Sheriff’s Deputies say the 82-yr-old woman accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and drove into the bank.
She was transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition. There were no injuries inside of the bank.
