Dutchtown High fight leads to six teenage girls arrested

GEISMAR —- The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to Dutchtown High School for two separate fights on Thursday morning.

In total, six girls were arrested due to the fights.

Although there were two separate fights that took place on March 27, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office says the two were connected.

No serious injuries were reported from the two fights at Dutchtown High.

As for the six teenagers, they’re all charged with disturbing the peace.

This was the second high school where a fight broke out on Thursday. Istrouma High in Baton Rouge had a large fight that involved students and parents, in which six students were also arrested.
