With Tuesday’s election now officially in the books, several local races for police chiefs have been decided.
In Livingston Parish, the Town of Livingston elected Randy Dufrene with 57% of the total votes and in Walker, David Addison was re-elected after receiving 60% of the total votes, according to Tuesday’s complete but unofficial election returns.
In Ascension Parish, the police chief position in Gonzales will go to a runoff vote between Sherman Jackson who received 45% of the votes, and Stephen Ussery who got 34% of the votes, according to Tuesday’s complete but unofficial election returns.
And in West Baton Rouge Parish, the Town of Brusly re-elected Jonathan Lefeaux with 67% of the vote, according to Tuesday’s complete but unofficial election returns.
