East Feliciana sheriff’s deputy arrested for soliciting a minor, indecent behavior

CLINTON, La. – A sheriff’s deputy is under arrest and accused of soliciting a minor online and indecent behavior with juveniles.

East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Jeffrey Travis says his office learned earlier this week that one of his deputies Graham Porter, 37, of Clinton was suspected of being involved in illegal activity.

The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office cooperated with Louisiana State Police and Porter was arrested on February 15 on one count each of Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

The charges stem from an internet sting operation that originated in Sabine Parish.

Porter was booked at the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office jail by Louisiana State Police as a fugitive from Sabine Parish and released to LSP. He will be transported to Sabine Parish.

Sheriff Travis said Porter has not been on duty since he learned of the investigation and is no longer an employee of the East Feliciana Sheriff’s Office.
