Investigators from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said the latest homicide was a gang-related shooting.
It happened around 7:30pm in the 4500 block of Sherwood Commons on Tuesday, Sept. 20th.
Stanley Wright, 33, died after he was shot outside an apartment.
Earlier today around 11am in the 7200 block of Yorkshire St., there was another shooting.
BRPD found one person shot in the back with a non-life threatening injury.
