The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating the bank robbery of a Bancorp South Bank.
Officials said it happened around 4:25pm on March 22, 2022 at 6051 Jones Creek.
Someone walked into the bank and passed the teller a note making threats and demanding money. Officials said no weapon was seen during the robbery.
The man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He is described as a black male wearing a neon yellow shirt with a long-sleeve black shirt underneath and wearing a face mask.
