EBRSO investigating weekend homicide at hotel

BATON ROUGE —- East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a homicide inside a hotel room.

Deputies responded around 11 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2024 to the La Quinta Inn & Suites on Reiger Rd. in Baton Rouge. That’s off of Siegen Lane.

Kwame Patrick Paul, 34, was found dead inside the hotel room. The cause of death has not been released at this time nor is it clear when Paul was killed.

Deputies are asking for the public’s help with any information. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
