Escaped Teen Accused of Stealing Car & Guns Since Most Recent Escape

The teen from Pointe Coupee Parish who has a history of escaping juvenile detention centers, is now accused of stealing a car and three guns after his most recent escape.

The Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office reports Damarion Simmons, 16, is still on the run and has made his way back to Pointe Coupee Parish.

This is at least the third known time Simmons has escaped juvenile detention centers around the state. Most recently, sources tell Unfiltered with Kiran, Simmons asked for a blanket and used it to jump over a barbed fence.

SIMMONS ESCAPES AGAIN

“We have been made aware that him and
another juvenile stole a vehicle and three weapons (pistols) from St. Martinville,” said Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff Rene Thibodeaux.

The juvenile who escaped from the facility with him has been apprehended.
