Expect delays I-12 eastbound after overturned concrete truck

LIVINGSTON — Cleanup is underway on I-12 eastbound near mile marker 30 in the Town of Livingston in Livingston Parish.

It comes after a concrete truck overturned. Thankfully, officials say no injuries were reported, but the inside lane of I-12 eastbound is shut down.

Crews must now clean up the crash site before the interstate’s lane can re-open.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, but it’s unclear at this time what led up to the crash. UWK has asked for further details on the crash, but is awaiting officials’ responses.
