Baton Rouge Police are investigating a body found just before 10pm on Wednesday, June 8th.
Sources said the body appears to be a female’s body at Mayflower and St. Ferdinand streets.
The EBR Coroner’s office is now en route to pick up the body, where officials will perform an autopsy in the coming days.
It’s unknown right now how long the body has been there or if foul play is suspected.
