Feud between ex-husband & boyfriend leaves one person dead

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is responding to a homicide involving what appears to be an ex-husband and current boyfriend.

It happened just before 4pm in the 11900 block of Foster Rd., just off Comite Dr. in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Officials said the shooting will be a justified self-defense shooting. Based on the investigation, the boyfriend went to the ex-husband’s door armed with a gun and was physically assaulting the ex.

One person died on the scene. The shooter remained on the scene.
