Firefighters battling blaze at St. Helena’s Grand Paradise Casino

PINE GROVE —- Multiple fire departments have been battling a blaze since 5pm at a truck stop and casino in St. Helena Parish.

The fire broke out close to 5pm at Grand Paradise Truck stop & Casino at the intersection of Highways 16 & 63.

Officials say as of now, no injuries have been reported but the casino and truck stop appear to be a major loss.

Early indications are an electrical panel sparked the fire. As of 7:30pm, the fire is under control according to officials.

The Fire Marshal’s Office & ATF have been called in as well to investigate.
