LIVINGSTON — After a “theft spree” at Juban Crossing spanning multiple stores, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a group of five women.
Deputies say that people inside of a vehicle appeared to be attempting to hide some merchandise from several area stores. Upon investigation, deputies say they learned that the five women had allegedly been on a “theft spree” targeting several stores at Juban Crossing, and possibly other locations.
Livingston Sheriff’s deputies say the five had allegedly concealed merchandise on themselves, in large purses they were carrying or by simply walking out of businesses without paying.
Deputies recovered merchandise from stores in the amounts of:
- Academy Sports = $400+
- ULTA = $1,100+
- Carter’s = $800+
- Rouses Market = $160+
- Old Navy = $70+
- Five Below = $220+
In total, five women were arrested from Baton Rouge, Prairieville & Denham Springs. One is accused of misrepresenting herself during the booking process.
- Shoundrika Dennis, 42 Baton Rouge
- Auquintae Lanus, 39 Baton Rouge
- Tkiya Dennis, 20 Baton Rouge
- Blake Davis, 24 Prairieville
- Antailynn Lanus, 20 Denham Springs
All are facing charges such as organized retail theft, tampering with surveillance, illegal possession of stolen things and additional charges.
