WALKER — Multiple people were recently arrested in Livingston Parish after the Sheriff’s Office’s Narcotics Division investigated an alleged meth and fentanyl distributor. Agents say they arrested five people and seized a variety of narcotics, including fentanyl and meth.
According to LPSO, agents conducted an investigation into Darnell “Peanut” Jones for allegedly distributing meth and fentanyl from a home on Herring Drive in Walker. Through their investigation, agents obtained a search warrant for the home.
The following items were seized (approximate totals):
- 28.1 grams of fentanyl
- 203.2 grams of methamphetamine
- 6.7 grams of “speedball” (a meth/fentanyl mixture)
- 2.1 grams of crack cocaine
- 20 doses suboxone
- 218.8 grams of marijuana
- 1,634.2 grams of cutting agent
- Blender containing fentanyl residue
- Packaging material and digital weighing scales
- $1,481 U.S. currency
