Funeral arrangements set for DOTD’s Darrell Guillory

A memorial has been set up outside the Department of Transportation & Development building in Baton Rouge in honor of DOTD MAP driver Darrell Guillory, 66.

Guillory responded to assist Ruben Ernesto Dorado, 31, of Miami, FL, on I-10 westbound nearby Hwy. 415 on Sunday, Nov. 20th.

Dorado turned on him instead and started stabbing Guillory repeatedly. Someone driving by called 911. When West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, he saw Dorado still stabbing Guillory so he shot Dorado.

Both Guillory and Dorado died of their injuries.
